At Legends of the Fence Rescue, our mission is to rewrite the narrative for power breeds by providing a safe haven, second chances, and lasting love for misunderstood giants like the American Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, American Bully, and Cane Corso.
We are committed to responsible rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming — with compassion, transparency, and education at the forefront of everything we do. We fight for the underdogs behind the fence lines, giving them the legendary lives they deserve.
Rescue Description
Legends of the Fence Rescue is a breed-specific rescue dedicated to protecting and uplifting the dogs society too often overlooks — the powerful, intelligent, and deeply loyal breeds like APBTs, Dogos, Bullies, and Cane Corsos.
These dogs are more than muscle — they are family. With the right guidance, structure, and compassion, they blossom into affectionate companions and devoted protectors. Our rescue focuses on:
- Rescue and Rehabilitation of abused, abandoned, and at-risk power breeds
- Public Education to dispel harmful myths and promote responsible ownership
- Behavioral Training rooted in respect, patience, and breed understanding
- Adoption Advocacy to place our dogs into committed, prepared homes
- Community Outreach for spay/neuter access, training support, and owner retention
